Salmon in the Classroom Chum Release

Byrne Creek in SE #Burnaby, BC, hosted a Salmon in the Classroom realease of Chum fry raised by elementary schoolkids today.

We talked about how the watershed works, the salmon life cycle, streamkeeper activites, and what sorts of birds and animals other than fish can be seen in the ravine park.

I like to keep my posted photos of such events general to avoid any potential concerns about privacy.
