Stewardship Series Tour of Byrne Creek

Thanks to the Invasive Species Council of Metro Vancouver for organizing a Byrne Creek tour yesterday as part of their Stewardship Series of events.

It was fun leading the tour of some 20 people and talking about what volunteer streamkeepers do on this lovely creek in SE Burnaby, BC.

Several Byrne Creek Streamkeepers volunteers participated, so folks on the tour had plenty of opportunities to ask questions and get various perspectives on some of the ongoing issues in this urban/suburban watershed.
