Training Volunteers for Spawner Monitoring

We had a good spawner-monitoring orientation tour this morning with eight volunteers, despite not seeing any fish aside from a few coho/cutthroat in the smolt-size range. We know other groups around the BC lower mainland are reporting spawners, so fingers crossed they start arriving soon! Here we are down on the dyke heading back upstream from the confluence with John Mathews Creek.
