Volunteers Spot 3 Chum in Low Return

Volunteers were happy to see a total of three Chum salmon in the creek today. The Chum return began late, and numbers have been dismal compared to previous years.


Apparently this is a common trend in the Fraser River watershed. Fingers crossed numbers will rise as there's still about a month to go in the season.
